About WBMDFC Scholarship 2022

The West Bengal minorities development and Finance Corporation offers different types of scholarships for the students who are not able to gain higher education. There are different types of scholarship that are present on the West Bengal minorities development and Finance Corporation website. This scholarship will help develop the premises of the West Bengal State and also help in developing the human resources of the country by providing incentives to gain an education.

Types Of Scholarship Scheme 2022

The list of the different scholarships is given below:-

• Post-matric Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria for WBMDFC Scholarship

The eligibility criteria for different types of scholarship schemes are given below:-

Pre- matric Scholarship

• The applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal.
• An applicant must be studying in a School/ Institution recognized by an educational Board/ Council/ University of the State/ Central Government.
• The applicant must have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination.
• The annual family income should not exceed Rs.2 lakh.
• Students studying in institutes outside West Bengal will not be eligible for the pre-matric or post-matric scholarship.

Post-matric Scholarship    

• The applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal.
• An applicant must be studying in a School/ Institution recognized by an educational Board/ Council/ University of the State/ Central Government.
• The applicant must have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination.
• The annual family income should not exceed Rs.2 lakh.
• Students studying in institutes outside West Bengal will not be eligible for the pre-matric or post-matric scholarship.

Merit Cum- Means Scholarships

• The applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal.
• The applicant must have got admission in a technical/professional course.
• An applicant must have secured at least 50% marks in the last Higher Secondary/ Graduation examination.
• The annual family income of the student should not be more than Rs.2.5 lakh.
• The students who are residents of West Bengal but pursuing studies in listed institutions located outside West Bengal, as may be notified from time to time by the West Bengal Minorities’ Development and Finance Corporation, are also eligible for applying.

Talent Support stipend

• The applicant must be a domicile of West Bengal.
• The applicant must have got admission in a technical/professional course.
• An applicant must have secured at least 50% marks in the last Higher Secondary/ Graduation examination.
• The annual family income of the student should not be more than Rs.2.5 lakh.
• The students who are residents of West Bengal but pursuing studies in listed institutions located outside West Bengal, as may be notified from time to time by the West Bengal Minorities’ Development and Finance Corporation, are also eligible for applying.

SWAMI VIVEKANANDA MERIT CUM MEANS SCHOLARSHIP

• The applicant must be a student of Class – XI and XII
• Or the applicant must be under the Graduate level in Engineering, Medical and Technical / Professional courses besides Under Graduate, Post Graduate level students pursuing General Degree courses.
• The scholarships will be sanctioned to deserving students on merit-cum-means criteria.
• Students pursuing M.Phil courses and Doctoral courses from State-aided Institutions are eligible.
• The upper ceiling for family income has been fixed at Rs.2,50,000/- per annum.

Eligibility of Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship

• The candidate must be a permanent resident of West Bengal belonging to SC / ST/ OBC category
• Only girls student are eligible to apply for this scholarship scheme
• the students studying in class 10th, 12th, graduation or post graduation level can apply for the scholarship program
• The annual family income should not be more than 2.5 lacs for SC and ST category
• The annual family income should not be more than 1 lakh for OBC category
• The selected candidate will get Rs 3000 scholarship amount monthly
• all those students who are studying in educational institutes that are situated outside West Bengal are not eligible for this scheme

Eligibility of Hindi Scholarship Scheme

• The candidate must be a permanent resident of West Bengal
• The candidate must have secured 60% or more in the previous qualifying course
• For getting the scholarship Hindi must be one of the compulsory subjects
• The candidate should be from a non-Hindi speaking state
• The selected candidate will get around Rs 3000 to Rs 10000 per month
• All those students who are studying in educational Institute that are situated outside West Bengal are not eligible for the scheme

• On the homepage, you are required to click on new registration 2020-21

• Now you have to select the district of your Institute
• After that application form will open before you
• You have to enter all the required information in this application form like your name, father’s name, gender, date of birth, mother’s name, mobile number, captcha code etc
• Now you have to click on submit and proceed
• Now Fill the scheme eligibility column on the webpage.
• Click on the “Submit & Proceed” Button
• Further, check your Relevant Scholarship Scheme
• A User ID will be generated.
• Login with Your User Id And Password
• Fill up the-

  • Bank Account Information
• Finally, verify all the details
• Click on the “ Final Submit “ Button
• Take Print Out Copy Of Application From
• Along With Photocopy Of Bank Pass Book Containing Bank Account No And IFS Code, submit it to the concerned Institute
