West Bengal Yuvashree Arpan Yojana 2022
West Bengal Yuvashree Arpan Yojana was launched by the Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee on 6 March 2019 so that entrepreneurship among youths can be promoted.
Through this scheme financial incentives are provided to the entrepreneurs by the State Government in order to set up their enterprise. This financial assistance will be Rs 1 lakh which will be provided to 50000 youths. This funding will be provided by the micro, small and medium enterprises department.
Through WB Yuvashree Arpan Yojana entrepreneurship will be promoted which will help in creating jobs. The creation of jobs will automatically promote the economic growth of the state.
Benefits And Features Of WB Yuvashree Arpan Yojana
- WB Yuvashree Arpan Yojana was launched by Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee on 6th March 2019
- The Government have started this scheme in order to promote entrepreneurship among youth
- Under this scheme financial incentive of Rs, 100000 will be provided to the beneficiaries
- Around 50000 entrepreneurs will get the benefit from this scheme
- The funding for this scheme will be provided by the micro, small and medium enterprises department
- WB Yuvashree Arpan Yojana will help in creating jobs that will automatically promote the economic development of the state
- The government is also going to launch a dedicated portal for this scheme so that the beneficiaries can take benefit
- The benefit amount of this scheme will be directly transferred into the bank account of the beneficiaries through the direct benefit transfer method
- Through this scheme, the unemployment rate will also go down
- The government is also going to provide training on skill development based on the beneficiary’s business ideas
- The government of West Bengal has allocated a budget of Rs 500 Crore for the implementation of WB Yuvashree Arpan Yojana
- The department of micro small and medium enterprises will be the nodal agency for the implementation of this scheme
Eligibility Criteria Of West Bengal Yuvashree Arpan Yojana
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal
- The applicant should not have been punished under any criminal offense
- Those youths who are interested in opening a new business and have new ideas in order to create self-employment for themselves and others can apply for this scheme
- Youths having to possess a technical degree from recognized institutes can also apply under this scheme
- ITI pass-outs or diploma holders can also apply under this scheme
- Applicant should not be the availing benefit of any kind of similar scheme from state or Central Government
